It is a fast-acting pain relief gel that is specially formulated for the treatment of mouth ulcers and other oro-pharynx inflammation.

Lignocaine hydrochloride acts as a local anesthetic that works by blocking the pathway of the pain signals along the nerves. Sodium ions play a significant role in the pain signals reaching to the brain, i.e., the signal propagation and lignocaine blocks the fast voltage-gated Na+ channels that are present in the neuronal cell membrane. This prevents the pain signals from reaching to the brain.

Choline salicylate is anti-inflammatory in function. It works by reducing the swelling around the mouth ulcers and alleviating the pain associated wIt h the mouth ulcers.

Benzalkonium chloride is an anti-bacterial agent. It promotes the faster healing of the mouth ulcers by preventing the secondary infections.
